“Microplastics and Medusae – expedtions into H₂O “

(latest exhibition, October 2018, Budapest/HUN)

The exhibition at the “Universal Sea Festival” in Budapest (October 2018) presented the artistic-scientific hybridworks created by students of the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and the Technical University of Berlin (TU) as part of an interdisciplinary seminar – seminar leaders: Roman Kroke and Henning Wehmeyer – in partnership with 13 scientific laboratories specialized in the research on plastics in aquatic environments. The exhibition also presented Roman Kroke’s first drawings of the series « Microplastics and Chameleons – poetic expeditions into H₂O » (work in process). The Festival was organized by the Institute for Art and Innovation (Berlin/DE) and Hybridart (Budapest/HUN), co-funded by the Creative European Programme of the European Union.
