Picture Stories

for BIG & small children

(For information about Roman Kroke’s project on this topic, please click the menus right from the white arrow)

During his law studies and the legal clerkship Roman Kroke wrote and illustrated the two children’s stories The Mussel and the Sandhopper and Mottie the Moth.

On the basis of these picture stories Roman Krokes holds lectures in primary schools, which have regularly been sponsored by the Berlin Senate of Culture. According to the preferences of the school, the lectures can be held in German, English or French. Kroke also leads artistic workshop where the students take the two stories as a starting point to develop their own artworks (age group: 6-11). The Berlin Senate Department for Education, Youth and Science (DE) has distinguished the innovative approach of these projects in a so-called “best-practice”-exhibition presenting the workshops as role model for teachers.
