LECTURE & WORKSHOP: “Microplastic und Chameleons”, Nord Sea island Juist (Germany)

At the invitation of the municipality, Roman Kroke travelled to the North Sea island Juist giving  a lecture on his interdisciplinary art projects on the topics of plastic pollution of the oceans, biodiversity and climate change; in particular on his Pacific Ocean crossing on board of the German research vessel SONNE and his whale shark research in the Philippines in cooperation with marine biologists from the organisation LAMAVE.

He also led a four-day art workshop on this topic for young people on behalf of the KlimaWerkstatt Juist. A short video teaser of the collective art-work created by the participants:
