Avec les deux journalistes Maria Zielinska (Pologne) et Alexandra Jastrzebska (France) l’artiste Berlinois Roman Kroke se rend à Varsovie pour mener une enquête sur deux événements: la révolte du ghetto de Varsovie (1943) et l’insurrection de Varsovie (1944). Le film fut soutenu par la Commission Européenne
