Das Projekt fand für 5 Tage im August 2015 statt. Die Ausstellung zeigt die entstandenen Arbeiten. Ort: Centre Social des Hautes Garennes, 32 rue Gustave Flaubert, 91120 Palaiseau (France).

Während des Workshops schufen 21 Gefangene Kunstwerke (Skulpturen, Collagen, Malereien). Als Haupt-Arbeitsmaterial dienten ihnen ausrangierte Bücher. Inspirationen für ihre Kunstwerke fanden sie in Sprichworten und Zitaten aus der ganzen Welt mit Bezug zur Metapher des “Buches” und der “Bibliothek”. Das Projekt erfolgte in Kooperation mit dem Collège Charles Péguy: SchülerInnen hatten personalisierte Bücher ins Gefängnis gesandt, die von den Teilnehmern des Workshops in die Kunstwerke integriert wurden.

Das Projekt wurde gefördert durch die französischen Ministerien für Justiz und Kultur.
