The movie documents the international project LIVING MEMORIALS, in which Roman Kroke, in his role as the project’s artistic and pedagogic coordinator, has led interdisciplinary art-workshops in the middle of the primary Naliboki forest (Belarus) and at the historic site of the Wannsee Conference (Berlin/Germany).

Together with the two journalists Maria Zielinska (Poland) and Alexandra Jastrzebska (France) the Berlin artist Roman Kroke travels to Warsaw enquiring into two historical events: the Revolt in the Warsaw Ghetto (1943) and the Warsaw Uprising (1944). The movie was sponsored by the European Commission.
