His interdisciplinary approach aims at creating a symbiosis between the arts, literature, history, philosophy and sociology exploring the organic relationship between the past, presence and future. In these areas, Roman Kroke is engaged in national and international cooperative projects with schools, universities, museums, foundations and TV productions. Dans le cadre d’un atelier de deux jours sur le sujet « Le Camp des Milles » les élèves ont créé des œuvres (sculptures, collages, peintures) à partir des biographies des anciens internés/déportés (Lion Feuchtwanger, Max Ernst, Karl Bodek, …).

Ce projet interdisciplinaire s’est déroulé sur le site de la Batterie de la pointe, un vestige des fortifications du XIXème siècle de Paris.

After the prize « Le Grand prix Hippocrène de l’éducation à l’Europe » obtained in 2012 – also decorated with a sum of 10.000,-€ – it is the second time that Roman Kroke’s interdisciplinary art-projects have been distinguished with a prestigeous prize in France.
